The two CRL FAILED lines from xrdgsitest are harmless - they are also in the passing 6.1.0-1build1 build log with OpenSSL 4 (xrdgsitest still exits 0).
XRootD::gsi::test actually failed in 6.1.1-1 because Debian accidentally dropped "HOSTNAME=localhost \" before dh_auto_test in debian/rules: https://salsa.debian.org/ellert/xrootd/-/commit/413460302568989438859129f607d07195296c87 Without it, the test connects using the builder hostname (lcy02-amd64-081), which resolves to lcy02-amd64-081.buildd and fails the cert check against host.pem. Debian restored "HOSTNAME=localhost \" in 6.2.0-1: https://salsa.debian.org/ellert/xrootd/-/commit/abb0a78658847370672472716255521303814896 I did a local test build of 6.2.0-2 from unstable with OpenSSL 4.0.1 and XRootD::gsi::test (and the rest of dh_auto_test) passes, so syncing 6.2.0-2 will fix this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170902 Title: xrootd 6.1.1 FTBFS: XRootD::gsi::test fails (OpenSSL 4 CRL handling, builder hostname in cert CN check) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xrootd/+bug/2170902/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
