Public bug reported:

When the phone initiates TDLS setup (it does so on its own as soon as traffic
to the laptop
gets heavy, e.g. a 50 MB adb push), wpa_supplicant fails to install the TPK:

wpa_supplicant: TDLS: Creating peer entry for 52:28:af:c8:6b:7d
wpa_supplicant: TDLS: Dialog Token in TPK M1 57
wpa_supplicant: TDLS: Retrying sending of message (action_code=1)
wpa_supplicant: nl80211: kernel reports: key addition failed
wpa_supplicant: TDLS: Failed to set TPK to the driver
wpa_supplicant: TDLS: No matching entry found for Teardown 52:28:af:c8:6b:7d

From then on, all unicast IP traffic from the laptop to the phone is lost (ping
100% loss,
TCP connects time out), while ARP/ND and the phone's multicast still get
through, and every
other host stays reachable. The phone retries setup every ~2 s. Only
reassociating the
laptop (nmcli con up) clears it; the loss survives a phone reboot (the phone
keeps its MAC).

Reproduction (reliable)
1. Laptop and phone associated to the same BSSID; reset the phone's Wi-Fi so it
retries TDLS.
2. Push ~50 MB to the phone (adb push over Wi-Fi).
-> within 1 s: the log above, the push hangs, pings to the phone fail 100%.
3. nmcli con up <connection> -> traffic recovers.
4. wpa_cli -i wlp1s0 set tdls_disabled 1, reset the phone's Wi-Fi, repeat step 2
-> no TDLS, 3 x 50 MB at ~30 MB/s, clean pings. Reproduced and controlled
2026-10-30.
With the two clients on different BSSIDs of the same AP (no TDLS possible),
never seen.

addresses data

here on 7.2.
