Update: the fix has been backported upstream and is now in a release.
b7246d0d ("bluez5: deal with asynchronous device and node removal") was
cherry-picked to the 1.6 branch as 5412be36 and shipped in PipeWire
1.6.11 (tagged 2026-10-29). 1.6.10 and 1.6.11 also carry several other
bluez5 fixes from the same series (transport error count reset, method
call reply handling, allocation failure handling).
So the options for 26.10 are either a stable update to 1.6.11, or a
cherry-pick of 5412be36 onto 1.6.8-1ubuntu4 (it touches only
spa/plugins/bluez5).
The crash still reproduces here with 1.6.8-1ubuntu4: WirePlumber 0.5.17
segfaults in bluez5-device.c:impl_init right after resume from
hibernation while Bluetooth headphones are connected.
