Public bug reported:

Hardware: ASUS Vivobook 15 X1504ZA, Intel Core i5-1235U (Alder Lake-P),
Iris Xe graphics, Kingston NV3 1TB NVMe. BIOS X1504ZA.316 (latest).
OS: Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS, kernels 7.0.0-38-generic and 7.0.0-42-generic.

Problem: during s2idle suspend the battery drains ~4%/hour
(59% -> 4% in ~13 h). The system never reaches S0ix.

Findings:
- /sys/kernel/debug/pmc_core/slp_s0_residency_usec stays at 0
  after suspend; /sys/power/suspend_stats/last_hw_sleep = 0.
- With warn_on_s0ix_failures=Y the kernel reports
  "CPU did not enter Package C10!!!"; only Package C2/C3 counters
  increase. Package C6-C10 are always 0, both suspended and idle.
- Cores do reach C10 (~97% residency at idle via cpuidle).
- i915_dmc_info: DMC v2.20 loaded, "DC3 -> DC5 count: 4",
  "DC5 -> DC6 count: 0". DC6 is never reached.
- eDP panel does not support PSR or Panel Replay
  (i915_psr_status: "Sink support: PSR = no").
- MSR 0xE2 package C-state limit = 8 (not limited by BIOS).
- cpuidle driver: intel_idle; C6/C8/C10 enabled.

Already ruled out:
- NVMe: APST enabled, ASPM L1 active.
- Intel VMD enabled and disabled in BIOS: no change.
- Wi-Fi (CNVi) power save and radio off: no change.
- USB receivers unplugged: no change.
- powertop --auto-tune: no change.
- ltr_ignore for XHCI (4), ME (6), CNV (10) with Secure Boot
  disabled: no change.
- HDMI audio power domains: use count 0.
- S3 "deep" sleep: system does not resume (falls back to s2idle).

Under Windows 11 on the same hardware, Modern Standby lasted
overnight with minimal drain, so the platform can reach S0ix.

Expected: display engine reaches DC6 and package reaches PC10/S0ix
during s2idle.
