Package: mate-utils 1.26.1-1build5 (resolute) Environment: Ubuntu MATE upgraded from 24.04 to 26.04.1, Xorg session. libglycin-2-0 / glycin-loaders: 2.1.5+ds-0ubuntu0.2
Steps to reproduce: 1. Run `mate-screenshot --interactive` (or press Print Screen). 2. Take a screenshot (any mode) and click "Save". Expected: the screenshot is saved to the chosen folder. Actual: the save never completes; the process hangs with no error message in the terminal. "Copy to clipboard" works. This did not happen on 24.04 with the same mate-utils source version. Additional info: - The changelog shows only no-change rebuilds since 1.26.1-1. - Same symptom reported by another user on 26.04: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/26-04-mate-screenshot-and-gdebi-not-working/86416 - Similar bug in Fedora, traced to gdk-pixbuf/glycin async saving conflicting with mate-screenshot's fork-based save: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2390588 - Upstream patch (synchronous save): https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-utils/pull/368 libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0: Instalados: 2.44.5+dfsg-4ubuntu1 Candidato: 2.44.5+dfsg-4ubuntu1 Tabla de versión: *** 2.44.5+dfsg-4ubuntu1 500 500 http://ar.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu resolute/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #2390588 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2390588 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2169430 Title: mate-screenshot hangs while saving files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mate-utils/+bug/2169430/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
