KDE Plasma won't start. Hello. I’ve tried reinstalling the KDE desktop packages multiple times, but nothing has worked.
My Kubuntu 24.04 system was updated to 26.04, but the Wayland graphical interface failed to launch. I had to install LightDM, Openbox, and the Xubuntu interface just to be able to access the system—which is how I’m writing this post. Because of this installation failure, all my KDE applications are now affected. Do you have any suggestions on how to get the KDE desktop back as the graphical interface? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2169053 Title: Upgrade from 24.04 to 26.04 fails on libktextaddons-data / kubuntu- desktop dependency conflict To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2169053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
