Additional context: this machine is Ubuntu Certified for 24.04 LTS (Noble).
Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 (AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ 388 w/ Radeon 8060S, Touchscreen) https://ubuntu.com/certified/202606-38917 Certified: 23 July 2026, kernel 6.17.0-1028-oem, BIOS UKCN19WW The affected system in this report is the same model (DMI product 83W5, AMD GPU 1002:1586), running BIOS UKCN20WW. The panel is sold and marketed as VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000, so on a certified platform the built-in display's HDR capability is currently not usable under Ubuntu because of this parsing gap. Note that 24.04 (Noble) ships an even older libdisplay-info, so the same problem is expected there as well; this report was filed from 26.04.1 LTS (libdisplay-info3 0.3.0-1). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2173160 Title: libdisplay-info ignores HDR capabilities declared only in DisplayID 2.0 blocks (no CTA-861 HDR Static Metadata), HDR unavailable on Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 OLED To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdisplay-info/+bug/2173160/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
