Forwarded the mpris-proxy OBEX crash fix upstream to the linux-bluetooth mailing list (BlueZ no longer accepts GitHub pull requests), so it can land in a future release. It consolidates the unmerged PR #2098 and the inner-proxy (session->obex) guard from issue #2569 / PR #2631.
