Thank you for the detailed report and diagnostics.
This appears to be a duplicate of LP #2172110, which reports the same
internal keyboard issue on the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 17IWC11 (83VS).
Both reports describe the keyboard working in BIOS/GRUB but not in
Linux, with the i8042 controller detecting the keyboard while IRQ 1
remains unchanged during key presses.
The reporter of LP #2172110 also confirmed that i8042.dumbkbd restores
keyboard functionality, although it affects the Caps Lock LED.
I'll mark this report as a duplicate of LP #2172110 so the issue can be
tracked in one place. Please follow that bug for further updates.
