dkms autoinstall on 6.8.0-147-generic/x86_64 failed for rtl88x2bu(10) ---------------------------------------------
This is not a bug in Ubuntu or the kernel. The problem is that you have an external kernel module installed that is not compatible with the changes to the Realtek wireless API changes Ubuntu made in the 6.8.0-147 kernel I'm not sure where you obtained the rtl88x2bu from, but I'm guessing from the "RinCat" repo. See this for potential workaround: https://github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver/issues/294 Or consider switching to the code found in newer kernels: https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw88 ** Bug watch added: github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver/issues #294 https://github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver/issues/294 ** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid ** Summary changed: - package linux-headers-generic 6.8.0-147.147 failed to install/upgrade: problèmes de dépendances - laissé non configuré + rtl88x2bu/git failed to build with 6.8.0-147.147 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2173437 Title: rtl88x2bu/git failed to build with 6.8.0-147.147 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2173437/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
