Thank you for reviewing the bug report.
I have recovered and uploadedthe original kernel logs from October 30,
2026, before the Wi-Fi problem was resolved.
Three logs have been uploaded:
1.
*AX211-Failure-Kernel-7.0.log:*Kernel 7.0.0-42-generic, Intel
firmware version 89. The AX211 failed initialization with |Microcode
SW error detected|, |PNVM_MISSING|, and |Failed to run INIT ucode: -5|.
2.
*AX211-Failure-Kernel-6.8.log:*Kernel 6.8.0-52-generic, Intel
firmware version 86. The same initialization failure occurred,
including |PNVM data is missing|and |PNVM_MISSING|.
3.
*AX211-Success-Kernel-7.0.log:*Kernel 7.0.0-42-generic after
applying the PNVM workaround. The Intel AX211 successfully
initialized using firmware version 89, and Wi-Fi connectivity was
restored.
The issue was resolved by decompressing the existing Ubuntu-supplied
PNVM file:
|/lib/firmware/intel/iwlwifi/iwlwifi-ma-b0-gf-a0.pnvm.zst|
into:
|/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-ma-b0-gf-a0.pnvm|
I then regenerated the initramfs images and rebooted.
The original PNVM file was present in the installed firmware package,
but the driver reported |PNVM_MISSING|until the workaround was applied.
I hope these original logs help identify the underlying firmware-loading
or packaging issue.
