Public bug reported:
Package: libcvc0t64 6.4.2-1 (source: cinnamon-desktop), Ubuntu 26.04.1
LTS
Cinnamon, cinnamon-settings and csd-media-keys abort (SIGABRT) when a
Bluetooth headset switches between A2DP and HFP:
Cvc:ERROR:../libcvc/gvc-mixer-
stream.c:541:gvc_mixer_stream_get_port: code should not be reached
This is upstream bug https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-desktop/issues/267.
It is fixed upstream (commits 2d4f3560ae, 249f587db0, released in 6.8.0).
Ubuntu 26.10 and 27.04 (6.6.2-2) are also affected: 6.6.2 predates the
fix, and libcvc/gvc-mixer-stream.c:541 still has the g_assert_not_reached().
Please backport the fix to 26.04 and 26.10.
Versions: cinnamon 6.4.13-2ubuntu0.2, pipewire 1.6.2-1ubuntu1.2,
wireplumber 0.5.13-1ubuntu1.1
** Affects: cinnamon-desktop (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
