Bug status on Linux (current release = 2.6.24) changed from Fix Released to Confirmed.
I'm afraid upgrading to Hardy doesn't fix it for me. I have exactly the same problem: it suspends-to-RAM just fine, and the "Sleep" LED lights up on the laptop, but it will not restart. When I press the power button, fans start, hard disk spins, LEDs light up... but the screen stays dark and the keyboard remains inactive.
