Public bug reported:

Connecting an acer n311 pda via usb is not possible. The dmesg diff
after plugging in the device is:

[ 14.106119] usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[ 14.112470] usb 2-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 5.762781] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_ether
[ 14.476045] rndis_host 2-2:1.0: RNDIS_MSG_QUERY(0x01010101) failed, -110
[ 14.476056] rndis_host 2-2:1.0: rndis get ethaddr, -110
[ 14.477012] rndis_host: probe of 2-2:1.0 failed with error -110
[ 14.477038] usbcore: registered new interface driver rndis_host

The acer n311 works under windows mobile 2005 and "should" work with the
actual rndis driver.
