Same here.. Reinstalled hardy, and the maximum resolution is set to 600x800.. like mikko sorri, I've tried dpkg-reconfigure, but it doesn't ask anything about screens any more... This is probably due to https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/hardy-hardware-detection but that doesn't help, because no workaround is suggested there....
