Like I wrote in my post, I had the same problem and I change my cd/dvom for an old (lsc 24081M). Since, no freeze.... it's fantastic. A friend update his TS-L632D (he has windows on dual boot) and it's good. I think it s possible to put the good firmware under windows. Try if you can or change the combo cd/dvd for another like me.
