Hi Two errors here.
Upgrade from an completly new installation of kubuntu 6.06 LTS (from the Live CD) including [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# uname -a Linux stockhorn 2.6.15-23-386 #1 PREEMPT Tue May 23 13:49:40 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# the latest patches (dapper). Then trying to upgrade by using kdesu "update-manager -c -d" (..) First error ====== (..) xtracting '/tmp/tmpV8IBR_/edgy.tar.gz' authenticate '/tmp/tmpV8IBR_/edgy.tar.gz' against '/tmp/tmpV8IBR_/edgy.tar.gz.gpg' can't find DistUpgradeViewGtk (..) Solution: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# apt-get install python-vte Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done The following extra packages will be installed: python-gtk2 The following NEW packages will be installed: python-gtk2 python-vte 0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 169kB of archives. After unpacking 389kB of additional disk space will be used. Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y (..)
