in fact, this is more probably a gnome or gtk problem. If run kino in a
new linux account, I have not problem ; if I use my heavy loaded account
with many user-settings from gnome and gtk, I have the problem. I can
create the problem with this operation too : changing display in time-
code, frames, second ... when doing that, this produce a refresh in left
side bar (a special gtk_treeview), and an internal "assert" close kino
application.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: kino

- I have 2 graphics cards in my computer one ATI, one NVIDIA. In gutsy,
- using kino, I have a problème when cutting some parts of video ; kino
- exits with this error : "** ERROR **: file gailtreeview.c: line 3724
- (traverse_cells): assertion failed: (row_path != NULL". After multiple
- searches, I have found that the problem occures with nvidia proprietary
- driver not with others (both ATI, and free nvidia).
+ when I cut some pieces of video in edit mode kino application exit with
+ this message on console : "** ERROR **: file gailtreeview.c: line 3724
+ (traverse_cells): assertion failed: (row_path != NULL"
