It happens on my system, too (it has never seen an external repo). According to aptitude, libeel2-2 (installed automatically) breaks nautilus-python, which is why it won't be installed. Removing libeel2-2 with aptitude requres the removal of nautilus (and some associated packages), rhythmbox and gnome-volume-manager.
