Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-driver-ati
Hi, I'm on the last Alpha (4) of Ubuntu Hardy, and since the Alpha 2, my graphic card ATI Mobility 7000 don't want to work with X / free ati driver ("ati"). On Gutsy Gibbon, this driver works fine (direct rendering 3D works too, without closed driver fglrx). I don't have any error message, because X startup but just shows "green lines". I can't switch in TTY mode (via CTRL+ALT+F1). So, I press the shutdown-button (or use Magic Kernel Key don't work : Alt+ScrotButton+ S+E+I+U+B) ; so I have no logs about this errors in /var/log. PS : I have tried with my old xorg.conf of Gutsy, but don't work too. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-driver-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- X don't run correctly with my ATI Mobility 7000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188913 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
