https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/180359 This is standard Kubuntu 7.10 (other *ubuntus reported too) installation of thunderbird. Dragging items (single or multiple) results in the drag- handle floating right back to where the drag started and no action taken. I'm certainly not the only one that has this problem, judging from the aforementioned report. I hope this is clear enough, I really couldn't think of anything more important to add...
