I actually suspect that the Google Toolbar is simply exposing an underlying problem, which I'm guessing has to do with scripting. Even without the toolbar, there are a couple of sites I visit regularly that simply 'don't work' with ANY Mozilla browser on Ubuntu. The work fine using Firefox on Fedora or Windows.
At least one of the sites is using .Net, and I think a lot of AJAX. I get a really nasty ASP error when I try to use one of the site's functions, which works fine on Fedora. I've noticed that sites that use a lot of scripting take forever to load, and sometimes never completely load. -- [gutsy] firefox freezes with google toolbar enabled when you attemp to open more than two windows https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135110 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
