Thank you for addressing this issue! :) Here is what I get:
$ gconftool-2 -R --ignore-schema-defaults /system/storage /system/storage/default_options: /system/storage/default_options/ntfs: fstype_override = (inget värde satt) mount_options = (inget värde satt) /system/storage/default_options/ntfs-fuse: /system/storage/default_options/vfat: mount_options = (inget värde satt) /system/storage/default_options/ntfs-3g: mount_options = (inget värde satt) /system/storage/default_options/iso9660: mount_options = (inget värde satt) /system/storage/default_options/udf: mount_options = (inget värde satt) /system/storage/default_options/hfs: mount_options = (inget värde satt) $ mount /dev/sda3 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro) proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) /sys on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) varrun on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=0755) varlock on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=1777) udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) devshm on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620) lrm on /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/volatile type tmpfs (rw) securityfs on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw) binfmt_misc on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) /dev/sdb2 on /media/EDVINS IPOD type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,shortname=mixed,uid=1000,utf8,umask=077,usefree) ------- "inget värde satt" means "no value set" (I have a Swedish install) But actually, now when I tried to copy files from my harddrive to the Ipod in Nautilus, it worked. It's the first time I try that since the last time it started failing, which must have been in October or something like that. That's really weird. And now I plugged it out and then in again, and it still works. I don't know if that's good or bad, because for all I know it might as well not work tomorrow... Make of it what you will, I don't know what's going on here.
