Public bug reported:
After doing a Install of Edgy Beta from the Alternate Installation CD i
found my wireless was not working.
Solution
The "restricted" modules MUST be installed in order for the wireless to work.
So, after I installed that my wireless and the on/off switch works to turn the
wireless on and off.
