I think that I might have posted my info for a different reason. I am not using an ATI card, but Nvidia. Normally the install will find my hardware info (touchpad and nvidia card) and have no problems, but this time the only problem that I experience is that my touchpad was not recognized but it realized that I had a 1280x800 monitor.
