Hi, I just found out something if u use the latest kernel for Gutsy that is:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux khurrum-desktop 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Fri Feb 1 04:59:50 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux With this kernel along with the latest nvidia drivers for this kernel, suspend and resume as well as hibernate work perfectly.
