Binary package hint: dpkg-dev
Hi,
Using Hardy Heron (current build as of February 11th 2008) I am building
the Debian package for the svn mplayer using the following syntax:
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="--enable-gui --enable-menu" fakeroot debian/rules
binary
This gives me 2 problems not seen in Gutsy Gibbon or Feisty Faun:

Problem 1
=======
When installing the generated deb package dpkg fails with the following
error message:
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libconfhelper-perl
As I understood it libconfhelper-perl has been 'orphaned' by Debian?

The prgram dh_shlibdeps also generates the following errors, not seen in
Gutsy Gibbon or Feisty Faun packaging of this software:

I suspect a problem with dpkg-dev?
