I don't agree with Sebastien's position.
If it were like that, the "Empty trash" button would not work, because it could also lead user do delete datas. The thing is - if the button is labeled DELETE - it should do what it says. At least, the text of the button could bt changed to "Remove from the list", if you guys decide you won't let the user delete the images from the walpaper panel.
