I don't know if it will help to bugreport in this old thread but obviously I have the same problem as Harrison.
Running Gustsy on both server and clients. No problem using gq when ldap was unencrypted. But when I'm using TLS with a selfsigned certificate on the server I only got the following error: "Couldn't bind LDAP connection to 'server': Can't contact LDAP server Additional Error: Fel i certifikatet" - the last sentence is Swedish - "Error in certificate" something.
