The problem with the keymap selection menu is corrected in Hardy, but wrapping still exists with the accessibility menu F5 for some languages like Greek (Ελληνικά) and Slovenscina (perhaps a different bug report is more appropriate?).
Pressing F5 using these languages (notice that the bottom options line is long), the menu opens over the corresponding text and because the containing text does not fit in the screen, there are artifacts from the selection box that are appearing on the left hand side of the screen. To have the accessibility menu appear on the correct position, you can press F4 after having pressed F5 (and only after). Select one of the options and then F5 again. The accessibility menu now appears correctly (but the artifacts still remain). I attach 2 screenshots showing the accessibility menu, having and not having pressed F4. ** Attachment added: "Accessibility menu before F4 is pressed" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11965877/gfxboot-greek-before-f4.png -- [feisty, gutsy] keymap selection menu on boot distrorts screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/98966 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
