Public bug reported:
If I change the desktop effects settings from OpenGL to Xrender, once I
click the "Apply" or "OK" button (whichever I click 1st), whatever the
"Smooth scaling (slower)" option is set on is what it remains on; i.e.
if I check the option before clicking "Apply" the 1st time, I can
check/uncheck it all I want afterward and it will remain what it
originally was when I 1st clicked the apply button. The same goes if I
leave it unchecked when I 1st click the "Apply"/"OK" button.
The PC I'm currently on has the 32-bit version of Kubuntu 7.10 + KDE
4.0.1 installed, utilizes the Nvidia 169.09 driver with an Nvidia
GeForce FX 5200 graphics card, and an Intel P4 2.2Ghz processor.
