Thank you all for the work done so far. I installed the binary packages from gutsy-proposed. I'm sorry to say, that they don't pass the test case described in comment #34 in a satisfactory way: Only the first video on youtube is displayed correctly (although nspluginviewer takes lot of CPU capacity). But when following a link to a second video, the video area is rendered grey and only audio is working. Sometimes I get a message saying that nspluginviewer crashed (after leaving a site).
