Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: human-gtk-theme

Buttons in the human theme have round corners, and this works well in
Gnome applications and OpenOffice. However, in Firefox 3, the theme
engine assumes that the background is gray and the result is that form
buttons looks ugly (for example, the "Log Out" button here at
Launchpad).

According to the following post on the Mozilla bug tracker, this happens
because theme engines are using code from using an old version of Clearlooks:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329846#c45
