There is several bugs that speaks of problem with the same cards but not a long boot time during Loading hardware drivers.. Can you confirm if your wifi card is working properly? Also which ubuntu version do you use, Gutsy? Can you download the latest ubuntu hardy LiveCD from here http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/alpha-4/ and confirm if you still get that problem with the LiveCD?
