On Gutsy (actually it is also true for Feisty) we have vpnc 0.4.
In this version --disable-natt option was removed!!!
This means that config file option:
"Disable NAT Traversal" doesn't work anymore.

To obtain desired effect one has to use option:
"NAT Traversal Mode none"

In attachment short patch that takes care of that.

I checked in svn of upstream. There is some support for NAT Traversal
Mode but the value is hardcoded and it looks that disable checkbox still
won't work.

Should I submit new bug report or this one can be reopened?
