OK - Finally got a hold of an SD card and the reader is still not
finding anything (unless I am missing the 'magic password' to make the
card show up under the Places section of Gnome. So.... one more time I
will post my lspci -v and dmesg (with the SD card inserted). I am
certain this is probably just me <not!>. Attaching results as
stated...hoping for the oddball correction that my system requires....

Same as last post, dmesg first, followed by lspci results.
