I'm afraid this problem (or a similar one) still remains. When I suspended my computer and woke it up again the screen was black. I could see the cursor though which I think I didnt earlier. I tried restarting X with ctrl alt bs and just as I did I saw my desktop (or at least the desktop background) for a fraction of a second. Restarting X didnt help though, I had to reboot the computer to make it work again.
Perhaps this is another bug since this has to do with suspend and I can see the cursor now. I think I ran hardy alpha when I commented on the bug. Now running Gutsy. ---------------------------------------- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Thu, 7 Feb 2008 16:56:45 +0000 > Subject: [Bug 108923] Re: Display not waking up after blanked screen > > Thanks for your bug report. > Does this issue still exist in the latest updates of your system? > > > ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) > Sourcepackagename: None => gnome-power-manager > > -- > Display not waking up after blanked screen > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108923 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. _________________________________________________________________ Ladda ner hela Windows Live gratis och upptäck fördelarna! http://get.live.com/ -- Display not waking up after blanked screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108923 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
