@developers: maybe this can help in fixing the bug. I have found the cause of my bug: nvidia-glx driver. By removing this driver and using the free "nv" driver, I have back my tty's (with the workaround suggested by Loye). But in such a case, I havo no compiz effects. If I reinstall nvidia-glx, I have the effects, but no more the ttys...
