Public bug reported:

Compiz is not able to position a window correctly.
This behaviour is appearing in various situations.
All kind of windows are affected.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a window and maximise it
2. Close the window
3. Open it again
4. the window should be placed incorrectly
5. If not then give it a second try

This happens very often with, for example Firefox, Nautilus, Synaptics.

I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean.
This bug is a real usability problem! If you are on the second screen for
example and you use expose/scale
to choose the window on the first screen nothing will happen. You will still be
on the second screen.
That is really baffling.

This problem exists since Gutsy. I hope it could be solved before hardy
will be released.
