Public bug reported: Compiz is not able to position a window correctly. This behaviour is appearing in various situations. All kind of windows are affected.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a window and maximise it 2. Close the window 3. Open it again 4. the window should be placed incorrectly 5. If not then give it a second try This happens very often with, for example Firefox, Nautilus, Synaptics. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean. This bug is a real usability problem! If you are on the second screen for example and you use expose/scale to choose the window on the first screen nothing will happen. You will still be on the second screen. That is really baffling. This problem exists since Gutsy. I hope it could be solved before hardy will be released. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: compiz fullscreen windows -- Fullscreen windows don't fit to the workspace https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195112 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
