** Description changed: Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace Using kdebase-workspace 4:4.0.1-0ubuntu2, clicking on "Switch user" from the K menu (in the "Leave" section) only starts KRunner (as Alt-F2 does), but does not allow to switch to another user. I'm using Kubuntu Hardy and kdm3 as login manager. Does it require kdm- kde4 to work properly? + + WORKAROUND: chose "Lock" instead and then from the unlock dialog, chose + "Switch user..."
