Wolfgang, where can I find some of these fixes? I am writing this using wvdial to connect and had some problems getting it to configure correctly. All tracked down to not being root when attempting to configure wvdial. I would really like to know if the gnome-ppp package was rewritten and what .c and or .h files were involved. My intent is to make the changes necessary and recompile the package. I really miss not being able to see my overall connect time down on the task bar(windows term).
