Public bug reported:

Squeak is a smalltalk implementation used by multimedia applications,
educational platforms (such as OLPC) and web application developers. Due
to licensing issues squeak is not available in Debian. Ubuntu initially
used packaging from the Linex distro to put squeak in Multiverse during
breezy/dapper. Since then the Debian packages available from
squeak.org's repo have become available and are quite a bit better than
what Ubuntu currently has available which would be very helpful for an
LTS release. Also, OLPC has started shipping squeak-based Etoys on it's
laptops and in order for Ubuntu to have a complete sugar/OLPC
development platform squeak will be needed. There are also a number of
bugs we'd like to close for Hardy (being an LTS release). I had geser
take a look at the packages and he said they looked good (I cleaned up a
couple copyright issues he found).

Where to find the sources: http://laserjock.us/files/edubuntu/squeak/

Summary of changes:

* Current squeak packages: squeak-vm (producing squeak-vm and squeak),
squeak-sources, and squeak-image
* Proposed squeak packages: squeak (producing squeak-vm, squeak, and
squeak-plugin), squeak-image3.9, squeak-plugin-image, squeak-sources3,
squeak-sources3.9

The squeak-image package is now versioned because multiple images are
coinstallable. Multiple squeak-sources packages are needed because
squeak-image3.9 depends on squeak-sources3.9 but squeak-plugin depends
on squeak-image3.

I've added squeak-image and squeak-sources transitional packages and
tested upgrades. As these are completely different packages I've not
included diffs or diffstats.
