Public bug reported: Just did a partial upgrade with the latest hardy package updates (wed feb 27, 2008). That included the 2.6.24-10 kernel. Well, the restricted modules can not be installed at this time (I need the ath_pci driver for my atheros card). When trying to install by hand (after rebooting on the 2.6.24-8 kernel), I get the error message (in synaptic): "linux-restricted-modules-generic: Depends: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-10-generic but it is not installable " and indeed, linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-10-generic is not on the repos (I'm using ubuntu.cs.utah.edu).
I guess it's gonna show up soon on the repos, but I just wanted to report it. ** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- linux-resticted-modules-2.6.24-10-generic not installable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196346 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
