Originally, this bug didn't seem to happen until I created another user account.
I've re-installed and updated Gutsy, and now I can't replicate this bug. I made some desktop folders and files, created another user account, and logged out/rebooted all without any problems. After doing this Update Notifier popped up with a few updates, and one of them was for Nautilus.
