Public bug reported: Hardy Alpha 5 updated to 2-28-08 recognizes that my system has an internal FDD but can not access it. I have verified that the FDD and the disk are both in perfect working order.
Nothing happens when I try to mount the drive, the drive does not do anything at all. I tested the drive by setting the FDD as the first boot device and using an old Win 98 boot disk. The drive worked and could read the disk. The drive just will not do anything in Hardy. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- FDD not working in Hardy. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
