/libxklavier/3.4-2 caused broken system. I have dropped the file from /libxklavier/3.4-3 in the /var/cache/apt/archives/ directory (libxklavier12_3.4-3_i386.deb) how to I install it from text mode ? without internet access unless I use a Live C.D. and login as root with limited access because Live C.D. root login doesn't work right with Alpha 5. I have write access to local hard drive, & access to 4 icons, but that is it, no inter-active desktop background, or any tasks bars(not top or bottom).
