I have no Broadcom devices of any firmware type.  The bug is highly repeatable 
in Hardy with my USB kbd/mouse with keyboard repeat enabled.
I just hold down the key while repeatedly clicking on the mouse.
It happens almost immediately.
Oddly, once I disabled keyboard repeat, it no longer seems to want to activate 
keyboard repeat.  I can enable/disable it all I want, and it stays disabled.  
Perhaps a different bug, perhaps related to whatever is causing this bug.  No 
clue.
