Public bug reported:

When attempting to send an email from KMail, whether within Kontact or
stand-alone, KMail immediately crashes with Signal 6 (SIGABRT), leaving
no trace of the email in the Outbox, Sent Mail, or Drafts folder. This
has happened every time I have tried to send an email since upgrading
KMail from 3.5.8 to 3.5.9 (100% crashing), so KMail/Kontact is unusable
for me now to send emails.

This happens when sending an email without an attachment or with an attachment.
The email message was in simple, plain text, consisting of less than 10 lines
of text.
The email addressee (there was only one) was not in my address-book.

Expected behaviour: KMail should send the email
Actual behaviour: KMail crashes, and loses the email without a trace.

Ubuntu version: Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10
KDE version: 3.5.9
Kontact version: 1.2.9 ( 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa3 )
KMail version: 1.9.9 ( 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa3 )
