epiphany-browser... wha? it is not installed! But I'm indeed writing this from a "properly" working epiphany-gecko 2.21.90 installed on a fresh Hardy beta 5 + updates.
The way I did install epiphany was the same as I did in previous ubuntu releases: install the "epiphany-extensions" package and let synaptic do the rest. However I just installed "epiphany-browser" and the problem seems to be solved instantly. Removing epiphany-browser removes the choice from the combobox anew. I have gnome-control-center 2.21.92. Some more information: when epiphany-browser is not installed (but epiphany-extensions/gecko is): [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/bin$ ls |grep epi epiphany-browser epiphany-gecko So you seem to have guessed the problem (maybe). Impressive! :) -- epiphany is not listed in the preferred application choices https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
