Yes, I followed the directions and got the jist of everything. I edited the files as needed and I'll even attach the source and result.
If there are any errors let me know. If anything it's probably how I indexed the images. There's isn't much tohelp me in this area. Also, this error has come up before. Perhaps the libusplash-dev package could use a README on how to create the palette and throbber images perfectly.
